SCIENCE FICTION SOCIETY LIBRARY

Library. The very name evokes images of musky, cobweb-ridden corridors and stale leatherbound tomes. It's a name that some of college students come to dread. Not so with the Science Fiction Society Library. If you enjoy reading books without having to use a dictionary then this is the place to be. We have the latest science fiction, fantasy and horror books, graphic novels and reference works. All the big names are here, from Asimov to some guy whose name begins with Z. If you want it then we probably have it (if not we can get it for you).

 The library is only for members of the society. A person can take out three books at a time, for a period of two weeks. We don't charge any fees for lendin, but there is an overdue fine of 20p a book per week. Anyone abusing the system will be hunted down and shot. We know where you live.

The library is situated in Aras na Mac Leinn, the Student Centre in U.C.C. It is located on the top floor in the room situated on the left on the balcony. Opening hours are Mondays from 5pm to 7pm and Thursdays from 6pm to 7pm
